It seemed only the elders and those with ranks knew when it was Autumn under the sea, or well, any season... There was much mystery to how they figured it it without having to surface. It had been a dream of Aqua to be able to know such a meaningless thing as it was said by others. As long as she could remember it was just one of those things she just wanted to know.

Of course, Kyle knew of this dream and as he was a ranking, he knew how and when the seasons changed. But this was something that prohibited to tell anybody. That and his bashful presence around Aqua.

The changing of seasons was near, and curious Aqua wouldn't stop asking, he wanted to show her but knew she couldn't. And as a ranking, it was his turn to see when it was the season of Autumn.

You see, the secret of knowing when it was either Autumn or spring was through the Northen Lights. From September to October there was one set of Lights and from March to April was another time of lights. But where the lights shon, it was a dangerous area, hence why they were not allowed to cross as it took them beyond the way of safety.

He loved Aqua... Something in him just snapped. He took her by her hand and began to swam into the area.

"So long as I'm there to protect you..." He said outloud to her. She looked up at him as he pulled her firmly but gently over to the area.

It was pitch black, and Kyle began to slow down to a stop as he pulled Aqua a little closer the couple not to far to the surface. Then, little beams of light shot through down into the sea, mystical greens, purples and blues... Breathtakingly beautiful...

Aqua looked around, amased by the colours she then looked at how they were posed as if they were dancing her eyes fixated with his as she blushed. He just wouldn't let go...
